About Us

Southside Support, Inc. is a local nonprofit serving families of individuals with disabilities across south metro Atlanta. We provide programs, events, and support that help teens and adults with special needs build friendships, experience joy, and participate fully in community life. We also support caregivers through counseling, peer groups, resources, and much‑needed respite. With nearly 8,000 families connected through our online network and hundreds engaged in our in‑person programs, Southside Support is a trusted lifeline for families who often feel overlooked, isolated, or overwhelmed. Our goal is simple: help families feel supported, connected, and valued.

Our programs include PROM Possible, Camp Southside, The Ability Games, Empowerment Summit, Monthly Game Night, Caregiver Connection (free group counseling), Dads Who Care, and SNAZ—our mobile accommodation trailer that brings sensory‑friendly support to community events.
