2025 Winner – Delores Lamey

Our mother Dolores Lamey will be 93 years young this year. She is amazing, and full of energy. She washes dishes, does the laundry in my home. Most of all, she loves her family. The grandchildren are her heart. Blessed to love and enjoy her.

Honorable Mentions - Mom's

This is my beautiful mom, Amanda Vasquez! She is truly the most hardworking woman I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Nine months ago, she lost her mom to COPD at only the age of 57. With that being said, she is still working hard to provide for our family, and I couldn’t imagine a life without her. She puts my brother and I’s needs before hers without a second thought , and still tries to be a wonderful mom even with her own struggles of loss. I think my mom deserves everything and more!

My mom is truly the absolute best—not just because she’s my mother, but because she’s my biggest supporter, my best friend, and my constant rock. She has always been there for me, through every stage of life, without hesitation. When I gave birth to both of my boys, she traveled four hours just to be by my side, each time, showing up with love, strength, and support exactly when I needed it most. And when life gets hectic and I need her help, she doesn’t think twice. She will take time out of her life to come and stay with my boys for any reason. When my oldest was in the children’s hospital she called everyday to check on both of us and she made sure I had enough funds to eat and drink on while I was there with him everyday.
That’s just who she is—selfless, loving, dependable. I’ll never be able to fully express how grateful I am, but I know without a doubt: I’m beyond blessed to call her my mom.

This is a photo of me and my adoptive mom. My biological mother passed away when I was at a young age, it caused my life to be very hectic growing up. I met my best friend in 6th grade and her and her mom Denise took me in. She’s been an amazing mom to me from that point on. She took me in and took care of me and helped me get where I am today. If it wasn’t for her I don’t know where I’d be so I would love to give her all the appreciation I can! She deserves the world.

I am a first time mama, an I must say the best thing about being a mom is seeing your little one smile. as moms we put so much aside for our littles, at times that can become overwhelming. but their smirks and smiles make it all worth it. this is my son Gannon and I on his first Easter 2025.

This is a picture of my mother, Lynn Moreno (52) , running her first 5k several months after a long battle with Sepsis. She was able to complete the run and meet her grandson Thielen at the finish line. We enjoyed a brunch shortly after. The day was filled with peace, joy, and happiness. (And a strong appreciation for life!)

I’d like to nominate my daughter Amanda for the Mother’s Day contest. She has been through so much over the past few years—losing her dad and going through a difficult divorce—but through it all, she has remained strong and continues to be an incredible mother. Her boys adore her and look up to her in every way. They know they can always count on her, no matter what. Watching her handle everything with such grace, strength, and love makes me so proud. She is truly an inspiration, and I couldn’t be more honored to call her my daughter.

This is me with my youngest daughter on our last vacation. Every day with my kids is the best kind of journey. I got pregnant at a young age and I was a single mom for years, also going through DV so being able to pick myself up and get us out of the situation we were once in, one day I hope they are proud of me.

This is my family below. One that I didn’t even think I’d have. God blessed me with the ability to use modern medicine to conceive my two beautiful children!! I didn’t come from a good mother. One that was loving, and nurturing, and that made you feel safe. I knew my whole life I wanted to be a mom, and I wanted to break the cycle of what I grew up with. I do everything in my power for my kids to know just how incredibly loved they are by me. They have both grown into exceptionally fantastic young people who have a heart for God , and servitude. I’m blessed to be their mom. Happy Mother’s Day!!
My mom isn’t just the mother of her seven children—she’s a mother to many. Anyone she comes in contact with feels instantly loved, appreciated, and wanted. She’s been called “Mom” by countless people she didn’t give birth to, simply because of the warmth and care she shows to everyone.

She’s a true giver with a kind heart—someone who would literally give the clothes off her back. If you’re hungry, she’ll feed you, whether you’re her child or a complete stranger. Her compassion is unmatched, and the love of God shines through everything she does. When my mom is around, no one goes without. That’s why I believe she deserves to win. Her name is Lousie Bussey AKA LB

Denise is a wonderful mom. She gives her full attention to Abby and the sports that Abby is also involved in. She goes above and beyond

My mom is the most giving and compassionate person I know- she’s a joy to everyone she graces. She was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma Brain Cancer going on 3 years ago (she was not supposed to survive a year). She’s my favorite person and so deserving of the world. Even with cancer, her priority is everyone else- she gracious and humble. She’s a pure reflection of God’s purest love for us.
She also takes care of my special needs Uncle who moved to live with them after my grandmother passed. She is perfect!
My mother Cindy, is the strongest, selfless, beautiful, and faithful woman I know. She has been battling ovarian cancer since 2021. She has chemo weekly every week for 3 consecutive weeks and then gets a break from chemo the fourth week. SHE does this all while continuing to work, she recently retired in march but still continues to work part time as a medical assistant for an OBGYN office in Fayetteville. This woman still cooks meals for her family, tends to her house chores, and finds time and energy to keep up with her grandchildren for baseball and softball games. She’s always on the go and I personally believe she’s afraid to slow down. All while enduring the nasty medicine they inject into her body on a regular basis one thing has never changed…. Her faith! If anything it’s gotten stronger because she knows HE IS A WAY MAKER and we continuously lift her up in prayer and ask that his will be done. My mother has people all around the world praying over her healing and this difficult journey she’s traveling. This woman, Cindy Warren, is beautiful, strong, kind, loving, and faithful woman I know. I think all mothers should be recognized especially on Mother’s Day, but I’m a little biased when it comes to my mother. She deserves the world and nothing less.
My mom has been an super hero from being an single mom of 2 kids and bills more then her paycheck but still not skipping a beat ,,, to meeting her husband and coming into our lives and taking a load off of her . She has always been there by all our sides through everything and spreading herself thin . She had faced many dark spots as I was being a rebellious child. Through all of the depression, anxiety & emotions she faced as I was in the streets and may not hear from me for 6 months – 12 months and when I would get caught and she got the phone call I was locked up ,, then she could rest. Even through all of those dark areas , she was still there supporting me and showing me motherly love even if it was tough love , she never left my side . Now that I’m an adult with kids ,,, she is still there every step of the way . A couple of years back , she got hit with the unbearable news that she had cancer in the jaw. She had a rare but Very Aggressive Cancer. She had to undergo a surgery that lasted 12 hours but Dr took a piece of bone from leg and blood vessels from leg to put in her has along with a titanium plate. She went through 1 round of radiation and it caused an blockage in her main vein on the side of her neck and on the other side it’s 100% blocked . Through all of this she kept her faith and trusted that God had her and was taking care of her . She has been through a lot but still continues to press on and keep fighting !! She knows that if God called her today that she has an know -so salvation and going to Heaven. There is greater feeling then having an Praying Momma even when she is going through her own battles and need us more !!!
So I took this pic just a few days after my mother bought her 3rd house. I could not have been more proud of her and just had to post about how much of an inspiration she is. We will move into the next house and it’ll be our forever home while the other three will be rentals. She has done such much for my siblings and I (the 4 of us) and we love her with all our hearts. We surely drive her crazy but we love her. She deserves so much more than a night out and a few gifts. Words cannot express how proud I am of my mother. 🖤

My mama will do anything for us. She has gone above and beyond my whole life, but this past year she was in the delivery room with me and my husband and watched our daughter come in to the world. What a special moment to get to share with my mother! She loves her kids and spoils her grandbabies 24/7. We are thankful for her and everything that she does for us! The photo below is her and my daughter Amelia this past Easter smiling BIG!
